The U18A Bruce Grey Bulls hockey team delivered a thrilling performance this past weekend, capturing the Pelham Regional Silver Stick Championship in Niagara.
The Bulls’ road to victory was marked by grit and determination. In the semi-final against Woodstock, the team faced elimination until a dramatic goal with just 4.3 seconds left in the third period tied the game 1-1. The boys then sealed the win in a nail-biting shootout, sending fans into celebration and propelling the team into the championship final. Riding the momentum, the Bulls dominated Kingston in the final, securing a decisive 5-0 victory to claim the U18A Championship. Family, friends, and supporters were on hand to cheer the team throughout the weekend, proud to see the players come together as a cohesive unit. Their success has earned them a spot in the International Silver Stick Finals, scheduled for January 16-18, 2026 in Sarnia.
