My name is Tim Hammell. With my wide range of hockey experience and strong work ethic, I really look forward to my role as the Head coach of the first ever U10 Bruce Grey Bulls.  As a dedicated father to Ben (9) and Jacob (7), and husband to Sasha, I try and balance my time between coaching, dairy farming, and my family’s passion for hockey. Leaving home at 16 to pursue my hockey dreams, I played Junior hockey in various places before competing in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). All of my past hockey experiences have instilled in me the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork—lessons I would like to pass on to young players.

At the U10 level, my coaching philosophy focuses on skill development, teamwork and fostering a love for the game.  This stage is all about building strong fundamentals, encouraging confidence on the ice and creating a positive environment where players can learn and grow.

Hockey is a family passion for us. My wife Sasha runs power skating sessions, which I am actively involved in helping with, reinforcing the importance of skating as the foundation of the game. Together, we are dedicated to developing young athletes by emphasizing speed, agility, and confidence on the ice.

I am excited for the season ahead and look forward to helping each player develop, improve, and enjoy their hockey journey.

A product of Port Elgin Minor Hockey, Mike continued his playing career at the Junior C & Senior A levels before transitioning to coaching.
His philosophy centres on skill development, hockey IQ and a strong work ethic.

Scott Clark

Scott Clark
Scott resides in Saugeen Shores and is well known in the coaching ranks having coached for many seasons with Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey (SSMHA) and with the Saugeen Maitland (SML) Girls program.  Scott is currently the Head Coach of the U13 Tier 1 Rep Team with Saugeen Shores this season.  In addition to coaching duties, Scott has been involved in player development for many seasons, served as SSMHA’s director of development and can be found at the rink on most nights watching and studying the game!Scott is a great addition to the Bruce Grey Bulls Association and we look forward to his contributions with our U13A program next season
